The Dazzling Light of Autumn
This morning started with the creation of a photograph that I previously described in my Blog titled Going Places.
Now, I was well into hour 1 at this location and had moved less than 100 feet while creating what I felt were several strong compositions. The lighting for this photograph was rather unique. It was approaching 7am. I was working under 100% cloud coverage and as the sun rose high enough in the sky to finally rise above the crest of the eastern ridge (while remaining behind the clouds) the trees across the lake became sidelit by the now highly illuminated clouds dramatically enhancing their autumn foliage.
Praise God!
